Patrick Raingeard, a Breton who fell into a world of olive oil

Patrick Raingeard was born in Nantes, Brittany, but grew up in the nearby Vendée region, and from a very early age placed taste at the centre of his ambitions.

It was under Alain Passard at L'Arpège that he honed his palate with a well-learned lesson in how to lift vegetables to their zenith, and then under Jacques Maximin, before taking his talent and chef's hat to Monaco's Zebra Square and Port Palace Hotel, where he was awarded a Michelin star.

A convert to olive oil and Mediterranean influences, Patrick joined Cap Estel in 2012, and just a year later earned his first star.

Fanatical about fine produce, freshly-caught fish and sun-kissed vegetables, he has been working hard ever since to extract the very best from his adopted region, transcending simplicity with elegant dishes that speak volumes.

A fresh approach to a world of taste and daring in which creativity plays the leading role in four, five or seven courses:

  • The four-course Emotion Set Menu
  • The four-course Vegetarian Set Menu
  • The five-course Discovery Set Menu
  • The seven-course Signature Set Menu
  • Set Menu of the day (available during low season at lunchtime)

For groups of seven and more, a single set menu for the whole table is required.

The Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant La Table de Patrick Raingeard, in Eze-Bord-de-Mer, can be reached by boat, with mooring available in the private cove of Cap Estel.

During the summer, the one Michelin-starred restaurant La Table de Patrick Raingeard is open, by prior reservation only, from Tuesday to Saturday, for dinner from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
